Pressroom Success stories Civic Awareness Program was highly appreciated by USAID
On 3rd of March board members of Uluchay held a meeting with USAID Country Coordinator Scot Taylor and Eurasia Partnership Foundation Country Director Jamal Shahverdiyev and Program Manager Qurban Karimbayli. The meeting took place at Sheki Youth Information Center created by Uluchay with financial assistance from National Endowment for Democracy.
The purpose of the meeting was to inform two respected organizations about the work being done by Uluchay. Presentations on all major implemented and currently being implemented projects were provided. USAID and Eurasia Partnership Foundation representatives showed special attention to Youth Business Initiative Program, funded by Eurasia Partnership Foundation and Civic Awareness Program, funded by National Endowment for Democracy and Scot Taylor noted that “Existence of such youth centers is a big support for young people moving towards the democracy”.
