Through the U.S. Embassy-supported “Responsible communities – democratic society” project, “Uluchay” Social-Economic Innovation Center is continues development of institutional capacity and system of local communities.

Within this component of the project Uluchay provide five training sessions to each community, which are followings: what is the community and how it works, sharing experience of foreign communities, strategic planning of community, advocacy and project writing and increasing the influence of community board on solving of local social and economic problems.

Training sessions were provided by experienced trainers of Uluchay on community development. After these trainings community members will be able to work independently to find innovative approaches for solving of local problems through cooperation with the local population and authorities.

Let us note that community board members were selected from different target groups, including young people, women, elder people, private sector and local authorities.
