On March 4th, 2012, a graduate of Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy's Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Affairs Program, Elshad Ahmadov, met with the Sheki youth at “Uluchay” Social-Economic Innovation Center within the “Youth Civic Awareness Program” funded by National Endowment for Democracy (NED). Previously, Mr. Ahmadov, worked at our diplomatic missions in both Tehran and Washington DC, and also volunteered to serve as an Azerbaijani Peacekeeper in Iraq as part of the Multi-National Forces. Mr. Ahmadov also received full scholarship from the U.S. Department of State to study American Studies at California State University through UGRAD Program.

During this meeting with the active Sheki youth, Mr. Ahmadov shared his experience and also carried out a simulation game on Iran’s influence over Azerbaijan socio-economic life.
